All your hard work should be recognised and what you deserve is a national qualification. Now you can have one. There are four certificates available, two in numeracy and two in literacy. To get a certificate, you have to sit and pass a short test. It’s a straightforward, 40 question, multiple choice test that you take in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s free for eligible learners and just by passing the test in a learndirect centre, you’ll get a £10 book voucher.. A Certificate in Adult Numeracy or Literacy gives you: • More confidence • Help getting a job• A sense of achievement • Something for your CV• A nationally recognised qualification To find out more, ask a member of staff. *Terms and Conditions:- 1) To qualify for a book voucher, you must pass a test for a Certificate in Adult Numeracy or Literacy at a learndirect centre between 01/10/05 and 28/02/06 ** and be aged 18 years or over and resident in the UK. 2) In order to receive a book voucher, you must complete an online feedback questionnaire and your test result must be entered onto the learndirect system by your centre and must be the first such test pass for you ever logged with learndirect. 3) Your book voucher will be sent to you within 2 months of your result being logged on the learndirect system. 4) Only one book voucher per person. 5) There is no cash alternative to the book voucher. 6) The decision of the promoter in all matters is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 7) The promoter is UfI Limited, Dearing House, 1 Young Street, Sheffield S1 4UP.
